US Vice President JD Vance Criticizes Israeli Opposition to Agreement

U.S. Vice President JD Vance has sharply criticized Israeli officials and commentators opposing a recent U.S.-Iran framework agreement, warning that public attacks on the U.S. administration could undermine a key strategic relationship.

Speaking to reporters at the White House, Vance said President Donald Trump remained a central supporter of Israel on the global stage and cautioned against criticism from Israeli political figures.

He added that Trump was “the only head of state in the entire world who is sympathetic to the nation of Israel at this moment in time,” and criticized Israeli cabinet members who had raised objections to the agreement.

Vance also argued that Israel’s defense capabilities remain heavily dependent on U.S. support, stating that much of its military equipment is funded through American assistance.

“The problem for Israel is not Donald J. Trump and anybody in Israel who thinks their biggest problem is the President of the United States needs to wake up and smell the reality of the situation that country is in,” he said.
