Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Jordan Condemn Israeli Attacks in Southern Syria

Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Jordan have strongly condemned recent Israeli military attacks and incursions in southern Syria, calling them a clear violation of international law and warning that such actions risk further escalating tensions in the region.
The condemnation comes after Israeli occupation forces reportedly opened fire on civilians while withdrawing from the village of Abidin in Syria’s Daraa province, followed by artillery shelling in the area. Israeli aircraft were also reported to have flown over parts of the Quneitra and Daraa countryside ahead of the strikes.
In response, Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Ministry issued a statement expressing its “complete rejection” of what it described as Israel’s latest incursions into Syrian territory and the targeting of the Quneitra and Daraa governorates. Qatar and Jordan also echoed similar concerns, urging respect for Syrian sovereignty and calling for restraint to prevent further regional escalation.
