Ishaq Dar Reaffirms Pakistan-China Strategic Partnership Backs Regional Peace Efforts

Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar has praised the role of the Communist Party of China in the country’s economic transformation, saying its vision and policies have brought prosperity to the Chinese people and lifted millions out of poverty. He said the party has played a key role in strengthening the enduring friendship between Pakistan and China.

Dar described Pakistan-China relations as a partnership spanning generations and highlighted the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) as a landmark project promoting development and shared prosperity. He added that the second phase of CPEC is helping Pakistan advance further on its path of economic growth and infrastructure development.

The deputy prime minister also reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to peace, stating that Islamabad had initiated mediation efforts during recent regional tensions. He said Pakistan and China have worked together to promote regional and global peace and voiced support for the joint five-point peace initiative proposed by the two countries for the Middle East.
