IRGC Claims Strikes on US Military Facilities in Bahrain and Kuwait

Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) claimed it carried out attacks on US military facilities in Bahrain and Kuwait as part of an operation it called “Thunderbolt.” According to the IRGC, the strikes targeted American radar and air defense systems at Muharraq and other defense installations in Bahrain.
The IRGC claimed the attacks destroyed US radar and air defense equipment, while missile strikes in Kuwait targeted American communications systems, military facilities, and an MQ-9 drone hangar. It also alleged that Patriot air defense systems and satellite communication infrastructure were damaged during the operation.
The statement further claimed that drone strikes targeted a helicopter camp area at Al Udeid and the residential quarters of US military personnel at Al Jaber Air Base.
