Iranian Sailor Killed in Reported Drone Attack on Merchant Ship in Caspian Sea

Nima Moradi, a young sailor from Bandar Anzali, was killed during a reported drone attack on the merchant vessel Ana in the Caspian Sea while on his first voyage. Moradi, who was known as a passionate supporter of Malavan Bandar Anzali Football Club, was aboard the vessel when it came under attack.

According to the reports, the ship Ana was sailing from Russia’s Astrakhan port to Bandar Anzali when it was targeted by drones in the early hours of Saturday.
