45 died of Coronavirus as Pakistan confirms 3059 total cases.

These included, 1319 cases in Punjab, 881 in Sindh and 372 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
45 died of Coronavirus
189 cases confirmed in Balochistan, 78 in Islamabad, 206 in Gilgit Baltistan and 14 cases in Azad Kashmir.
One hundred seventy patients have recovered while 45 have died.
Meanwhile, the government has enhanced testing facilities and a total of 34,885 tests have so far been conducted.
Isolation facilities have also been established in 462 hospitals across Pakistan with a capacity of 7,295 beds.
On the other hand, Pakistan government has adopted strict measures to prevent deadly virus spread.
It established COVID-19 Relief Tiger Force. They would assist the government in tackling the coronavirus crisis.
On March 30, 2020, Prime Minister announced establishment of Corona Relief Tiger Force.
He said Corona Relief Tiger Force will work in collaboration with civil administration and army to contain the spread of corona virus.

He said a cell is working in the PM Office round the clock to monitor the situation closely.

PM Imran Khan has urged the nation to get united to make the fight against coronavirus successful.

He said the only country that has remained successful so far in this struggle is China that put 20 million people under lockdown to overcome the killer bug.

He said if Pakistan had similar situation like China, he could have shut down the whole cities. However, twenty five percent of our population lives under the poverty line and additional twenty percent is on the borderline.

However, he made clear no lockdown can be successful if people become unemployed and have nothing to eat.

Moreover, PM Khan said corona virus does not distinguish between rich and poor and everyone will have to play their role in its success.
