President elect of UN General Assembly holds talks at Foreign Ministry. On arrival at the Ministry, the Foreign Minister received the visiting dignitary.

Volkan Bozkir  arrived in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for talks with Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi.

On conclusion of the talks, the Foreign Minister and the President-elect of the UN General Assembly are scheduled to address a joint press stakeout.

Volkan Bozkir will also call on Prime Minister Imran Khan.

Issues and priorities pertaining to 75th session of the UN General Assembly will come under discussion during these meetings.

On the occasion, Volkan Bozkir planted a sapling at the lawn of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs under the national plantation drive.

Volkan Bozkir is visiting Pakistan at the invitation of Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi.

olkan Bozkir arrived in Islamabad on Sunday on a two-day visit to Pakistan.

Senior officials received him at Islamabad Airport.

Analysts see the visit of Volkan Bozkir as an important opportunity to highlight Pakistan’s strong and substantive contributions to the United Nations efforts in the promotion and maintenance of international peace and security.

Especially, Pakistan has been making contribution to the UN Peacekeeping Operations around the world since long.
