83 more people died of Coronavirus during the last twenty four hours in the country.

According to latest statistics, 2,972 people tested Covid positive during this period after tests of 39,171 people.

The figure of active Covid cases in the country now stood at 42,478.

However, the government has confirmed recovery of 399,852 people from the virus so far.

Meanwhile, Pakistan’s Ambassador to the United Nations, Munir Akram called for making Covid19 vaccine available to everyone and everywhere.

At the United Nations, he emphasized the need to view COVID-19 vaccine as a global public good.

He expressed these views, while speaking during a virtual press briefing.

Munir Akram said equitable distribution of COVID-19 vaccine will represent an acid test for the international community.

Furthermore, he also highlighted the importance of global cooperation and solidarity in beating back the disease.

Akram also highlighted the groundbreaking international collaboration working to achieve this goal.
