Ministers asks NAB to hold JUIF leader Fazlur Rehman accountable for his assets.

Federal Ministers Ali Amin Gandapur and Faisal Vawda called for this, while addressing a news conference in Islamabad today (Monday).

They emphasized that JUI-F Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman would have to answer for his assets.

Furthermore, Gandapur said JUIF chief mentioned only Rs2.5 million value of his six bungalows spreading over forty kanals of land in Dera Ismail Khan.

He referred that Fazlur Rehman mentioned that meagre amount in the documents submitted to the Election Commission of Pakistan.

However, he claimed that the actual price of these properties worth over Rs300 million.

Similarly, Gandapur spoke of two other bungalows of Maulana Fazlur Rehman which Fazl valued in documents at Rs1.5 million.

The minister also noted it too as false.

He further said that the NAB should conduct inquiry into the assets of Maulana Fazlur Rehman.

Gandapur suggested to the NAB to hold hold him accountable.

He also noted Maulana Fazlur Rehman’s indecent language against national institutions as condemnable.

Moreover, he said no one will be allowed to blackmail institutions.

Meanwhile, Faisal Vawda said Maulana Fazlur Rehman is misleading the seminary students.

He said the JUIF leader was using them seminary students for his personal gains.

Vawda said the government will not allow anyone to use religion for vested interests.

Furthermore, he said people should take care of their lives during Covid-19.

Particularly, he asked people to avoid attending public gatherings of the PDM.
