FM invites African investors to come to Pakistan to see opportunities of business in the country.

Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi made invitation, while talking to the envoys of different African countries.

They called on him in Islamabad on Thursday.

Moreover, the FM reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to bolster economic relations with the African countries.

Shah Mahmood noted tremendous opportunities of expanding trade and economic relations between Pakistan and Africa.

He highlighted different fields, including agriculture, health technology and religious tourism.

Furthermore, he said Pakistan is not only upgrading its missions in the African countries but has also decided to open new missions.

He said our diplomats in the African countries have also been directed to devote all their energies for promotion of bilateral trade and economic relations.

The Foreign Minister said we are also extending facilitation on visa acquisition.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Imran Khan expressed satisfaction over the positive trend in the country’s exports.

In a tweet on Thursday, he depicted 8.32 percent and 18.30 percent increase in the country’s exports.

He mentioned that came during the months of November and December 2020.

The PM further said the exports of India and Bangladesh during this period showed negative growth.

Moreover, once again he congratulated the exporters and the Ministry of Commerce for enhancement in country’s exports.
