Minister blames external powers of sabotaging peace and harm the CPEC (China Pakistan Economic Corridor) schemes.

Federal Minister for Interior  Shaikh Rasheed Ahmed expressed these views, while talking to newsmen in Karachi on Friday.

He said external powers want to sabotage peace in the country.

Furthermore, he said those powers want to harm the CPEC but the law enforcement agencies stay alert to thwart such conspiracies.

Besides, the government had directed all institutions concerned to stop smuggling of oil.

Sheikh Rashid said that government would not create any hurdle in the way of opposition if it takes out rallies under the ambit of law.

Moreover, he said further the revelations remain expected in the Broadsheet issue in the days to come.

He predicted it will prove Panama-II in the next election.

Earlier, Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed visited the PCG Headquarters in Karachi today (Friday).

According to the spokesperson of PCG, Director-General PCG received the federal minister.

Federal interior minister laid the floral wreath on the martyrs’ monument and paid tribute.

Furthermore, he lauded the professional role of the Pakistan Coast Guards (PCG).

He acknowledged commitment of the PCG for performing its duties on land and sea.

He praised PCG role against smuggling, drugs, and other heinous crimes.

Meanwhile, Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed got briefing about the professional matters of PCG.
