Indus River System Authority releases 69800 cusecs water

Indus River System Authority releases 69800 cusecs water today (Friday).

The IRSA released water from various rim stations with inflow of 63,900 cusecs.

According to the IRSA’s data, water level in the Indus River at Tarbela Dam remained 1407.34 feet, 23.34 feet higher than its dead level 1386 feet.

Furthermore, it recorded water inflow and outflow in the dam as 19,000 and 12,000 cusecs, respectively.

The water level in the Jhelum River at Mangla Dam recorded at 1101.30 feet, 61.30 feet higher than its dead level of 1040 feet.

Moreover, the inflow and outflow of water remained 27,100 and 40,000 cusecs, respectively.

Meanwhile, it also recorded release of water at Kalabagh, Taunsa and Sukkur as 24,100, 16,400 and 6,000 cusecs respectively.

Similarly, from the Kabul River a total of 10,600 cusecs of water released at Nowshera. Besides, 1,500 cusecs released from the Chenab River at Marala.
