Justice (R) Arshad Hussain appointed as Caretaker KP CM

Peshawar:Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Haji Ghulam Ali has appointed retired judge Syed Arshad Hussain Shah as the province’s new acting chief minister.
The Governor on Sunday approved the recommendation of former Prime Minister Mahmood Khan and Leader of Opposition Akram Khan Durrani in Peshawar. Retired Justice Syed Arshad Hussain Shah, originally from Abbottabad, was Additional Advocate General of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa,
Deputy Attorney General of Pakistan and Chief Justice of Gilgit-Baltistan. He is currently the guardian of the Provincial Minister of Law and Human Rights. The post of prime minister fell vacant on Saturday following the death of interim prime minister Muhammad Azam Khan in Peshawar.
