Massive decline witnessed in gold prices

Gold Rate in Pakistan Today – 29 March 2025
After a historic hike in gold prices after Muharram holidays, the prices saw a massive decline on Friday.
According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association, the price of 24-karat gold per tola fell by Rs3,000.
The gold is now being retailed at Rs251,000 per tola.
The price of 10-gram 24-karat gold also experienced a downward trend as it reached Rs215,192 after a Rs2,572 cut.
The price of 10 grammes of 22-karat gold on Friday was Rs197,259.
In the international market, according to APGJSA, the global rate stood at $2,415 per ounce, marking a $55 decrease on Friday.
Silver prices in the local market also saw a decrease by Rs50 to be traded at Rs2,850 per tola.
