Model Amna Urooj has been remanded to police custody for an additional four days in renowned Pakistani drama writer Khalilur Rehman Qamar alleged kidnapping case.
During the hearing, conducted by Judicial Magistrate Nabeela Amir, Uroj denied any involvement in Qamar’s kidnapping, stating that she had only invited him to discuss a potential drama project.
However, she admitted to withdrawing Rs287,000 from Qamar’s ATM, claiming that the money was handled by Hassan Shah.

Qamar had earlier alleged that he was abducted and robbed in Lahore, claiming that Aruj lured him to her house under false pretenses. He stated that armed men kidnapped him, blindfolded him, and released him after paying a substantial ransom.
The FIR reported that the suspects robbed Qamar of his mobile phone, watch, cash, and transferred Rs250,000 from his ATM card.
