Bollywood actor Naseeruddin Shah reveals secret of his successful married life

Senior Bollywood actor Naseeruddin Shah has termed the secret of his successful married life as friendship with his wife and not imposing any responsibility on each other.
Naseeruddin Shah and Ratna Phatak Shah got married in 1982 and have been married for more than four decades.
In an interview given a few months ago, the actor told about his wife Ratna that he first met Ratna during a play in Mumbai. Ratna was 17 years old at that time and I liked her during that play, he added.

Telling the secret of his successful married life, Naseeruddin said that the secret of their successful married life is that they both never put any fixed expectations on each other. Never imposed any obligation on each other. I told my wife that I can wash the dishes, I will also clean the house but you cook the food, with time we understood each other and our friendship became stronger which is still intact today, he said.
