Imad Wasim retires from international cricket

Pakistan all-rounder Imad Wasim has once again decided to retire from international cricket.
Imad Wasim made the announcement on Twitter stating that representing Pakistan on the world stage was the greatest honor of his life, and every moment wearing the green jersey has been unforgettable.
“After much thought and reflection, I have decided to retire from international cricket. Representing Pakistan on the world stage has been the greatest honor of my life, and every moment wearing the green jersey has been unforgettable,” he wrote on X.
“Your unwavering support, love, and passion have always been my biggest strength. From the highs to the lows, your encouragement has pushed me to give my best for our beloved country.”
Imad said that he would continue to play cricket through domestic and franchise cricket.
“hope to keep entertaining you all in new ways,” he added. “Thank you for everything. Pakistan.”
It is worth mentioning here that, Imad came out of retirement earlier this year and played T20I World Cup in USA and West Indies.
He represented Pakistan in 55 ODIs and 75 T20Is, where he claimed 117 wickets and scored over 1500 runs.
