Mercury in Karachi likely to drop again
The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) in its forecast said that mercury is likely to drop in Karachi once again.
The weather department said that the Karachi will remain dry and cold during the next 24 hours while the temperature is likely to fall to 11 degrees Celsius.
The minimum temperature on the port city was at 12.4 degrees Celsius yesterday (Wednesday).
The statement said that at present, winds of up to 10 kilometers per hour are blowing from the northeast, with humidity ratio of 28 percent, while these winds will continue to blow intermittently.
Meanwhile, the weather in Quetta and surrounding areas is cloudy and the weather is very cold and dry, the northeastern districts of Balochistan are also in the grip of severe cold.
According to the Meteorological Department, cold and drought will continue in most districts of the province. The mountainous areas are expected to remain in the grip of cold in the coming days.
Residents of nearby areas, including Quetta, Kalat and Ziarat, are also facing a drop in gas pressure, due to which consumers are facing severe difficulties despite severe cold.
