Talks to continue even if Imran Khan is sentenced on Jan 6: PTI
PTI Information Secretary Waqas Akram Sheikh has said that even if Imran Khan is punished, the process of negotiations will continue and the demands presented in the negotiations are subject to the civil disobedience movement.
Waqas Akram Sheikh while holding a press conference said that we are being asked about the civil disobedience movement, adding the call for the movement was from the PTI founder.
He further said that the first phase of the civil disobedience movement is ongoing. The civil disobedience movement is for Pakistanis abroad and the families of Pakistanis abroad are being threatened. It will be known in three months what are the effects of the civil disobedience movement.
Sheikh Waqas said that the movement of civil disobedience is not against the country but against the bogus government and the incompetent prime minister. He said that the founding chairman knows that people are facing difficulties due to the civil disobedience movement.
The PTI information secretary said that those who do not have public mandate were given government, which has violated the human rights and conducted civil military trial.
He said that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf is not an armed organization, it is a major political party of the country.
