Farmer distributed 50 maunds cauliflower for free in Pakistan for this REASON

A farmer distributed 50 maunds of cabbage for free when the price of the vegetable was offered just Rs2-5 per maund by auctioneers.
The incident happened on the outskirts of Narowal when a farmer brought about 50 maunds of cauliflower to the vegetable market, but even after going around for several days, he did not get a bid of more than Rs2 per kg to Rs5 per kg.
The farmer was disheartened and distributed cabbage in the market for free. The citizens came to the vegetable market and filled the bags and took cabbage for free.
The farmer said that it costs hi Rs40,00 per acre and Rs2 per kilo does not cover the cost of coming to the market. We are not able to pay the children’s fees, he complained.
