BCCI chief praises arrangements for Champions Trophy

Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) chief Rajeev Shukla has said that the decision to come to Pakistan has to be taken by the Indian government.

The Indian team cannot come to Pakistan without the permission of the government. Everything was settled before the Champions Trophy started, the BCCI the chief said.

Talking to the media, the head of the Indian board, who came to watch the second semi-final of the Champions Trophy at Gaddafi Stadium Lahore, said that the world will offer to hold matches between Pakistan and India, but the Indian board’s policy is to play bilateral series in their respective countries.

Praising the arrangements for the Champions Trophy, the BCCI chief said that the ICC Champions Trophy has been organized very well in Pakistan. Champions Trophy is an international event and it is very important. It’s a successful event.

Talking about the Asia Cup, he said that it is already decided that Pakistan’s matches will be held in a third place.

It should be noted that in the second knockout match between New Zealand beat South Africa and reached final of the Champions Trophy.
