The government has decided to observe March 15 (the International Day to Combat Islamophobia) as Youm-e-Tahaffuz Namoos-e-Risalat (PBUH).
The Ministry of Religious Affairs has issued a letter to observe March 15 as Youm-e-Tahaffuz Namoos-e-Risalat (PBUH).
In the letter, recommendations have been issued to the provinces to conduct awareness campaigns to stop blasphemous content.
Recommendations have been issued to the secretaries of Religious Affairs of Punjab, Sindh, Islamabad, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan, Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.
Maulana Hanif Jalandhari, Allama Muhammad Afzal Haideri, Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman, Prof. Dr. Sajid Mir and Maulana Abdul Malik have also been appealed to prepare a plan of action and launch an awareness campaign among the people.
