Attackers on food chains will be treated as terrorists: Talal Chaudhry
Food chains attackers
Faisalabad: Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhry says that attacks on foreign food chains are condemnable, and those involved in such incidents will be dealt with like terrorists.
In this regard, foreign food chains have been under attack for a week. It is the duty of the state to protect people from outside. A resident of Sheikhupura lost his life in an attack on a food chain. The state is not negligent in its duties. It is not right to spread hatred against someone’s business.
Moreover, people become part of it without any research; those who attack businesses will be dealt with severely. Around 20 attacks were carried out everywhere in the entire city; two incidents took place in Islamabad, and 15 people were arrested. The arrested people kept apologizing and are ashamed of their actions.
He said that the food chain has invested more than $100 million in Pakistan. What justification is there for you to be an attacker while you are a state? It cannot be that someone attacks those who have invested in Pakistan.
He said that after Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif took notice, there was no attack on the food chain anywhere in the country. All religious and political parties distanced themselves from these incidents. It is our duty to protect investments in Pakistan. No investor will complain that he did not get security.
He clarified that Pakistan’s position on Palestine is clear: Palestinian students are coming to Pakistan to study, Pakistan is a responsible country, and Pakistan stands with Palestine.
