Pakistani actress Urwa Hocane has urged her fellow celebrities to prioritize their self-respect and stand with Pakistan in the ongoing tensions between the two countries. In a heartfelt video shared on Instagram, Urwa addressed the importance of loyalty to one’s homeland during such critical times.

She explained, “Yes, it’s good to collaborate internationally and represent our country, but when someone is throwing you out of their home—and it’s not happened once, but many times—don’t you lose your self-respect?” Urwa emphasized that when faced with challenges, celebrities must support their country rather than focusing on maintaining relationships with fans from across the border.

Urwa Hocane also praised Pakistan for the success and opportunities it has provided her, saying, “We are here and what we are today is just because of our own people, our country.” She stressed the importance of knowing one’s worth and individuality, urging her colleagues to, “Reclaim your self-respect! Propaganda is one of the methods used in psychological warfare.”

Her message seems to be a subtle response to Hania Aamir, who has been receiving love from her Indian fans during this time, despite the ongoing tensions. Hania has continued to express kindness and gratitude toward her Indian supporters, even responding playfully to comments such as, “Love you,” and “I’ll cry” in response to messages from fans who use VPNs to access her posts.
