Panic in India: IPL Suspended as Pakistan Retaliates Against Indian Aggression
India has suspended the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) due to the Pakistan Army’s retaliation in response to Indian attacks.
According to Indian media, following attacks by India on Pakistan, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and IPL management held an emergency meeting.
After considering various proposals, the decision was made to suspend the Indian Premier League (IPL).
Indian media reports that the BCCI will soon provide details regarding the suspension of the IPL.
Yesterday, an IPL match scheduled to be held in Dharamsala was also called off, and the stadium lights were turned off. Meanwhile, foreign players began looking for flights to return to their home countries.
It is worth noting that after India’s attacks on Pakistan, the Pakistan Army has been responding with strong retaliation. Both the political and military leadership of Pakistan have firmly declared that Pakistan has the full right to respond to the attacks in accordance with United Nations regulations.
Federal Minister for Information Ata Tarar stated that Pakistan will respond to India and will do so soon, adding that the response will be one that the world will remember. Meanwhile, Defense Minister Khawaja Asif emphasized that Pakistan’s response to Indian drone attacks is inevitable.
