Humayun Ashraf Shares Why He Avoids Getting Married Again

Pakistani actor Humayun Ashraf talked about his personal life and why he has not remarried.

Humayun is a renowned Pakistani actor noted for his roles in other prominent dramas like Khuda Aur Mohabbat, Rang Mahal, Mere Damad, Intezaar, Sultanat, Ehsaan Faramosh, Ab Dekh Khuda Kya Karta Hai, and Mushkil. He also received praises for acting in Naqab and Ilzaam-e-Ishq.

In an online talk show, Ashraf chose to share the various reasons for which he has not considered remarrying.

He said, “Marriage is a beautiful relationship, but it needs to be done the right way. When I do get married again, everyone will know. It won’t be a secret.”

Humayun mentioned that adjusting is difficult, especially after being alone for a very long time. “You see what happens in other people’s marriages, and you learn from it. Living with someone who doesn’t want to adjust or compromise is not easy,” he said.

Humayun Ashraf shared with the public that people not only wish for their partner to be who they want them to be but they wish for so much that it actually creates some difficulties in the marriage. “Sometimes, the person you liked before marriage feels different after marriage. You try to change yourself for them, but that doesn’t always fix things.”

His words denote that he really puts a lot of seriousness into the marriage, and he will make that step only when he is much more ready.

It is worth mentioning that Humayun got a very young marriage that ended in divorce, leaving him now single.
