Veteran Pakistani actor Faisal Rehman recently left fans both amused and confused with his sarcastic sense of humor during a talk show appearance.

The star, who began his film career at just 14 and went on to share the screen with legends like Babra Sharif, has remained a beloved figure over the decades. His popularity was once again evident when he starred in the drama Qarz e Jaan.

Faisal appeared on Hina Niazi’s show, where he was asked about his youthful appearance and how he manages to stay fit. In his trademark dry humor, he responded, “Yes, I am very old. I have even met Quaid e Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah when I was 4.”

The sarcastic remark went viral, with many taking it at face value and believing the actor to be over 77 years old. Social media buzzed with surprise until fans clarified that Faisal was actually born in 1966, making it clear he was only joking.

The topic came up again on Waseem Badami’s show, where Faisal doubled down on the humor, saying, “I met Quaid e Azam when I was 10 years old.” Waseem laughed and pointed out, “This would make Faisal at least 88 years old.”

Adding to the fun, a comedian on the show joked, “Itni lambi kabhi maine bhi nahin phenki,” which made everyone, including Faisal Rehman, burst into laughter.
