China support for Pakistan
Beijing: Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi says that China will support Pakistan in safeguarding its sovereignty and territorial integrity.
During his visit to China, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar met with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi.
On this occasion, the Chinese Foreign Minister said that China supports efforts for lasting peace between Pakistan and India, China welcomes efforts to resolve disputes between Pakistan and India through dialogue, and China welcomes the proper settlement of differences through dialogue.
The Chinese Foreign Minister said that he supports achieving a comprehensive, lasting ceasefire and finding a fundamental solution.
The Chinese Foreign Minister further said that China and Pakistan should increase cooperation in the fields of industry, agriculture, energy, and mineral reserves. China and Pakistan should also increase cooperation against terrorism.
Earlier, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar met with Chinese Communist Party Minister Yu Jianzhu and his delegation.
