Islamabad— Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar held a telephone conversation with his Saudi counterpart, Prince Faisal bin Farhan, to discuss and review the longstanding brotherly relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.

According to the spokesperson of the Foreign Office, both leaders comprehensively evaluated all aspects of bilateral ties and reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening cooperation across all sectors. The discussion underscored the mutual desire to deepen collaboration in areas of trade, security, and cultural exchange.

Ishaq Dar and Prince Faisal bin Farhan also exchanged views on the current situation in the region, the spokesperson revealed.

On the other side, the Foreign Office of Pakistan has dismissed the allegations made by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, calling them a serious breach of international law.

The spokesperson labeled these remarks as unfounded, inflammatory, and deliberate attempts to heighten tensions in the region.

Emphasizing Pakistan’s role as a committed partner in global counter-terrorism efforts, the Foreign Office reiterated Islamabad’s stance.

The spokesperson accused India of targeting Pakistan to divert attention from the ongoing atrocities against Kashmiris. Pakistan has called on Indian leadership to demonstrate responsibility and exercise restraint to avoid escalating the situation further.

Highlighting the dangers of such provocative rhetoric, the Foreign Office spokesperson warned that these statements jeopardize regional peace. Pakistan remains dedicated to promoting peace, stability, and constructive dialogue in the region.

Reaffirming Pakistan’s strength, the spokesperson cautioned that the country’s desire for peace should not be misconstrued as weakness. Pakistan possesses full capability to safeguard its sovereignty, and any act of aggression will be met with a firm response.

The Foreign Office concluded by urging the international community to recognize India’s aggressive rhetoric and hateful posture.
