CJCSC Confers Civil Awards on 47 Scientists, Engineers for Meritorious Service
Rawalpindi: General Sahir Shamshad Mirza, NI (M), Deputy Chairman Development Control Committee and Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC), conferred civil awards on behalf of the President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
In a ceremony held at Chaklala Garrison, Rawalpindi, a total of 47 officers serving under the National Command Authority were honoured for their distinguished contributions in the fields of science and engineering. The awards were presented in recognition of their meritorious services to the nation.
Among the recipients, 10 officers were awarded the Sitara-i-Imtiaz, 21 received the President’s Award for Pride of Performance, and 16 were honoured with the Tamgha-i-Imtiaz.
