PTA announces free internet and call offer; Here’s How to Avail It

ISLAMABAD – June 20, 2025: The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has announced a major gift for mobile users across the country. To celebrate reaching 200 million mobile subscribers, PTA is giving free internet and call minutes to every user in Pakistan.

What’s the Offer?

• 2GB of Free Internet

• 200 On-Net Minutes (same network calling)

• Valid for 24 hours only

• Offer Date: June 20, 2025

To activate, simply *dial 2200# from any mobile network.

This offer is valid for all networks:

• Jazz

• Zong

• Telenor

• Ufone

Free Smartphones for Female Users

PTA also announced that it will give away 200 smartphones to female mobile users. These phones are locally assembled and will be distributed through computerized balloting.

Eligible winners will be selected from:

• All of Pakistan

• Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJK)

• Gilgit-Baltistan (GB)

The list of winners will be posted on PTA’s official social media pages.

Free Wi-Fi in Universities

To support students and promote digital learning, PTA is also setting up free Wi-Fi hotspots at HEC-approved universities, including selected women’s universities. This service will be available for six months.

A complete list of universities with free Wi-Fi will be shared soon on PTA’s social media platforms.
