The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has extended its services to the union council level to make access easier for citizens. According to an official announcement, these expanded services are now available in Islamabad’s union councils including Sayyedpur, Sahala, Model Town, Koral, and I-10/4.
Additionally, NADRA services are now accessible in Mureed UC of Chakwal and Daulat Nagar UC of Gujrat, enabling residents to visit these locations for official documentation needs.
In a separate initiative, NADRA earlier urged individuals who obtained their CNICs using incorrect information — whether intentional or accidental — to self-report. “Those who volunteer to report such discrepancies would be given legal protection,” NADRA stated in its public notice.
This step aims to promote transparency and gives citizens an opportunity to correct errors without facing immediate legal consequences. However, NADRA warned that failure to report false information may result in legal action, as accurate identity records are essential for national security and efficient delivery of services.
Citizens are encouraged to visit their nearest NADRA registration center to review and correct their data as part of this ongoing effort to improve identity verification and data accuracy.
