List of YouTube channels ordered to be blocked in Pakistan

A court in Islamabad has officially allowed the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) to block 27 Pakistani YouTube channels. The order came after the FIA’s Cyber Crime Wing filed a petition against these channels for spreading false and defamatory content.

The FIA informed the court that these YouTubers were involved in spreading fake news, creating fear among the public, and targeting state institutions with misleading and harmful information.

14. Imran Khan

15. Aftab Iqbal

16. Reel Entertainment TV

17. Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf

18. Daily Qudrat

19. Qadir Qadri

20. Chandasai Journalists

21. Naila Pakistani Reaction

22. Wajahat Saeed Khan

23. Ahmad Noorani

24. Nazar Chohan

According to FIA’s report, the above-mentioned channels were accused of promoting content that could incite hatred, cause panic, and damage the reputation of national institutions. The agency said this kind of content can be dangerous for public peace and national security.

The court reviewed the evidence and gave permission for these channels to be blocked in Pakistan.
