Humaira Asghar Ali’s Tragic Death: Police Investigation Reveals New Details

Humaira Asghar, a well-known actress and model, tragically passed away in Karachi at the age of 32. She rose to fame as a contestant on Tamasha Season 1 and later appeared in several dramas. As a model, she also represented various brands. The news of her death came as a shock nationwide, as she appeared to be young and healthy.

According to police reports, Humaira had rented an apartment in DHA Phase 6, Karachi, seven years ago and had been residing there since 2018. However, she had not paid rent since 2024. After her landlord filed a lawsuit for non-payment, a court-appointed bailiff went to the apartment to evict her. It was there that her body was discovered yesterday. Authorities confirmed she had been dead for at least a month. The apartment showed signs of decay, with maggots present, and her phone was found with a dead battery. No suspicious items were discovered at the scene.

Neighbors stated that Humaira kept to herself and rarely interacted with others in the building. They had not seen her outside her apartment for several months. The police have sent her body for forensic examination, and her phone is also undergoing forensic analysis. Express News reported that the police contacted Humaira’s father in Lahore, who revealed that he has cut ties with her for the past two years and does not wish to claim her body.
