Pakistan Turkey Trade Defense Ties
Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar has said that Turkey and Pakistan have the same position on global and regional issues.
In a joint press conference in Islamabad with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, Ishaq Dar said that Pakistan is benefiting from Turkey’s experiences in various fields.
He said that the friendship between Turkey and Pakistan is strengthening with time, and a meeting of the Pak-Turkish defense committees will be held in September.
On this occasion, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan said that relations between Pakistan and Turkey are being transformed into an institutional partnership, with the two countries promoting cooperation in the fields of economic affairs, culture, and defense.
The Turkish Foreign Minister further said that Pakistan and Turkey are keen to increase mutual trade to $5 billion.
