Who is BabyHaze? Kick Streamer Knocked Out in Tokyo After Assault Allegation

12 July, 2025 18:27

Controversial Kick streamer BabyHaze, also known online as BabyHaze69, is once again in the middle of a storm. But this time, the drama has spilled from the screen onto the real world. On July 12, 2025, BabyHaze was knocked out cold on a Tokyo street, triggering a wave of online reactions and renewed attention to past allegations.

Who is BabyHaze?

BabyHaze is a livestreamer on Kick, best known for his unpredictable IRL (In Real Life) streams. His content often features late-night chaos, confrontations, and controversial behavior. Over time, many viewers have labeled him a “nuisance streamer” due to his on-stream behavior and controversial associations.

He frequently collaborates with other polarizing figures, like Ice Poseidon, and has built a following from viewers who are either drawn to or disturbed by his unpredictable actions.

But BabyHaze is now facing backlash on multiple fronts — legal, social, and physical.

Knockout in Shibuya: What Happened?

On the night of July 12, a dramatic confrontation unfolded in Tokyo’s Shibuya district, a hotspot for IRL streamers. Another streamer known as Karumo confronted BabyHaze during a live stream. Karumo accused him of assaulting a friend.

The confrontation escalated quickly. After BabyHaze shouted, “Leave me the f**k alone,” Karumo punched him in the face, knocking him unconscious. The 44-second video of the incident quickly went viral on Reddit’s r/LivestreamFail.

Stolen Phone – Stream Keeps Rolling

The chaos didn’t end after the punch. While BabyHaze lay on the pavement, an elderly Japanese man casually picked up his phone — which was still streaming live.

What followed was bizarre and unexpected. Thousands watched online as the man wandered around Shibuya with the phone, eventually bringing it back to his home. The stream, still active, gave viewers a surreal peek into the man’s evening. It finally cut off hours later.

Social media exploded with mixed reactions. Some viewers laughed, others called it tragic, while many debated the toxic culture of livestreaming.

Past Allegations Resurface

The Tokyo incident reignited older scandals tied to BabyHaze. Just weeks earlier, legal YouTuber Andrew “Legal Mindset” had gone live to discuss a sexual assault allegation made against BabyHaze during his stay in South Korea, several years ago.

According to the discussion, the case was reportedly ruled in BabyHaze’s favor, with the accuser convicted of false reporting. The South Korean government allegedly even covered BabyHaze’s legal costs.

Despite that, viral clips from past streams show BabyHaze struggling to explain the situation, sometimes denying the accusation and sometimes appearing to downplay it.

Internet Divided

Public opinion is sharply divided. Some believe BabyHaze is being unfairly targeted. Others argue that his own actions continue to create these situations. Meanwhile, many are criticizing Kick and other platforms for rewarding toxic and dangerous behavior in the name of entertainment.

Whether BabyHaze can bounce back from this latest controversy remains unclear. But for now, he’s once again trending — for all the wrong reasons.
