Operation Goldsmith: Propaganda Against Pakistan Armed Forces Exposed After Repeated Failures

In the wake of repeated setbacks, a misleading propaganda campaign against the Pakistan Armed Forces has been exposed under the guise of Operation Goldsmith.

Once again, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has launched a baseless propaganda drive aimed at inciting public emotions and targeting the military leadership.

Aleema Khan, who has been implicated in several financial corruption scandals, addressed the media outside Adiala Jail with a message purportedly from PTI’s founder. However, this message is a compilation of organized lies and unfounded allegations.

The message not only levels serious accusations against the senior military leadership but also threatens that if anything happens to the PTI founder in custody, the responsibility will rest with the Chief of the Pakistan Armed Forces, and retribution will follow.

Furthermore, a fabricated narrative is being spread regarding a meeting between senior military leadership and Bushra Bibi. This rhetoric, driven by a specific agenda, is far from that of a conscious citizen. The corruption involving Bushra Bibi and the Farah Gogee gang in Punjab is widely known, and resorting to baseless allegations to distract from rampant corruption is deplorable.

Questions arise over the PTI founder’s claims: if he were truly revolutionary, why did he offer the then Army Chief a lifetime extension? During his tenure, the military leadership supported all lawful and professional actions within their mandate, reflecting the standards of a professional army. It raises doubts whether it is fitting for a political leader to make baseless claims about military neutrality during a no-confidence vote, a political process.

Similarly, writing letters to the IMF discussing default and engaging American lobbying firms through Operation Goldsmith to malign Pakistan post the failure of the “America conspiracy” narrative, questions the party’s political conduct.

It is a clear fact that PTI has attempted every possible means to harm Pakistan. Their efforts to spread hatred against the Pakistan Armed Forces and institutions via social media are evident. India had pinned high hopes on PTI’s founder and Operation Goldsmith to create internal divisions within Pakistan.

After failing, these Indian and Zionist agents are now under pressure and are again attempting to sow discord and division to facilitate India’s future aggression. These actors are mere puppets, and the accusations against senior military leadership mirror conspiracies orchestrated by Indian and Zionist interests.

To conceal its internal conflicts, corruption in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and failures, PTI resorts to baseless accusations against institutions. However, the public has recognized the party’s extremist mindset and political tactics. The lack of public participation in the party’s protest rallies is a clear indication that the people have decisively rejected PTI and its false narratives.
