India Launches Operation Mahadev to Cover Up Operation Sindoor Failure

India Launches Operation Mahadev to Cover Up Operation Sindoor Failure
Following the failure of its controversial military campaign “Operation Sindoor,” India has reportedly launched a new operation under the name “Operation Mahadev”, aimed at reviving its domestic political image and suppressing the growing freedom movement in Occupied Kashmir, according to security sources.
Security officials have disclosed that under the cover of “Operation Mahadev,” India plans to use innocent Pakistani detainees held illegally in various jails for fake encounters, presenting them as cross-border terrorists. This new plan is a continuation of India’s long-standing strategy of fabricating incidents to suit its political and military narratives.
According to the sources, “Operation Mahadev” has been designed not only to crush the increasing momentum of the Kashmiri independence movement but also to restore the Modi government’s political credibility following setbacks in previous operations. India reportedly seeks to portray this new effort as a successful military campaign to mask the humiliation of “Operation Sindoor.”
Security sources also recalled that after the Pahalgam false flag operation, India had swiftly resumed fake encounters — a trend that has now intensified under the new operation.
A grim example of this trend occurred on April 24, when two civilians from Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Muhammad Farooq and Muhammad Deen, were brutally killed in a staged encounter by Indian forces after they mistakenly crossed the Line of Control (LoC).
The new operation reportedly includes a plan where prisoners in Indian jails will be killed and falsely declared as infiltrating Pakistani terrorists, sources revealed.
Security officials highlighted that in his April 29 and 30 press conferences, DG ISPR had already disclosed information about 723 Pakistani nationals who are illegally detained in Indian jails.
Additionally, there are 56 more Pakistani citizens who have been forcibly and unlawfully detained by Indian intelligence agencies, sources confirmed. Their details were also made public by the DG ISPR during the same press briefings.
Following these staged encounters, Indian media is reportedly pre-informed and provided with videos and photos of the bodies and planted weapons, in order to craft a narrative for public consumption.
Credible intelligence reports suggest that Illegally detained individuals may be falsely presented as terrorists and made to give anti-Pakistan statements and confessions before the media.
These detainees may be used at any time for anti-Pakistan propaganda and military aggression, the sources added.
Security sources further emphasized that the Indian Army is notoriously known for fake encounters in Occupied Kashmir, and “Operation Mahadev” is simply a continuation of this well-established pattern.
After suffering setbacks in the Pahalgam false flag operation and the failure of Operation Sindoor, India is now said to be in a state of panic and desperation, sources concluded.
