Who is Wajiha Shah? Meet Security Guard’s Daughter Who Secured Third Position in Matric

Wajiha Shah, a student of Workers Model School SITE Hyderabad and daughter of a private bank security guard, secured the third position in the Technical School Certificate (TSC) Part-II annual examinations 2025 under the Sindh Board of Technical Education Karachi.

The Sindh Board of Technical Education Karachi announced the TSC results on Monday. According to Chairman Musharraf Ali Rajput, 1887 candidates from across Sindh appeared in the exams, with 1628 passing, resulting in an 86.27% pass rate.

Wajiha earned 1164 marks out of 1350 in Computer Science, bringing great pride to her family and earning widespread praise on social media.

Hafiz Muhammad Shaheer of Gulshan Technical High School Malir topped the exams with 1179 marks, followed by his schoolmate Muhammad Shamikh Ahmed in second place with 1168 marks.

Position holders received shields, medals, and cash prizes from the Board.

Social media users noted that despite the challenges in Pakistan’s education system, the success of middle-class students like Wajiha Shah demonstrates how talent and hard work can bring honor to the nation.
