JUI-F Leader Mufti Kifayatullah Passes Away After Being Shot by His Son in Malakand

Senior leader of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F), Mufti Kifayatullah, has passed away after succumbing to injuries caused by his own son’s firing in Batkhela, Malakand.

According to reports, the JUI-F Malakand chief was seriously injured a few days ago when his son opened fire inside their home. He was first treated in Peshawar and later shifted to a hospital in Islamabad. Despite efforts by doctors, he could not survive.

Funeral prayers for Mufti Kifayatullah will be offered tonight at 10 PM in Zafar Park, Batkhela.

JUI-F head Maulana Fazlur Rehman expressed deep sorrow over the death of Mufti Kifayatullah. He prayed that Allah accepts the services of the late leader and grants patience to the grieving family. Fazlur Rehman also said that Mufti Kifayatullah’s contribution to Islamic preaching and party work will always be remembered.

A few days ago, the tragic firing incident left Mufti Kifayatullah and his wife injured. Sadly, one of his sons and a daughter lost their lives on the spot, while two other children also suffered serious injuries. The attack shocked the local community, as the respected religious figure had served JUI-F with dedication for many years.

Residents of Malakand and followers of JUI-F have expressed grief over the loss of Mufti Kifayatullah. Many have described the incident as a double tragedy, first for the violent family attack and then for the death of the senior leader.
