Tayyip Erdogan offers help to flood-hit Pakistan in call with Shehbaz

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has promised full support to Pakistan after the recent floods that caused heavy damage in many areas.

According to reports on Thursday, President Erdogan spoke with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif over the phone. He expressed deep sorrow over the loss of lives and property due to the floods and offered condolences to the families affected.

Erdogan said Turkiye is ready to help Pakistan in relief and recovery efforts. He assured that Turkiye will provide all possible assistance during this difficult time.

PM Shehbaz thanked President Erdogan for his kind words and generous offer of support. He said the gesture shows the strong and historic friendship between Pakistan and Turkiye, as both countries have always stood with each other in tough times.

The two leaders also talked about their upcoming meeting at the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Summit.
