Modern Chinese Technology Will Be Instrumental in Managing Natural Disasters in Pakistan: PM
Tianjin, China: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif visited the National Earthquake Simulation Center at Tianjin University, where he appreciated China’s use of modern technology to address natural disasters.
During the visit, the Prime Minister highlighted that modern Chinese technology will be instrumental in managing natural disasters in Pakistan. He emphasized that national-level efforts are ongoing in Pakistan to tackle the recent flood situation and noted that leveraging Chinese expertise can help formulate effective strategies for flood management.
The Prime Minister stressed that modern projects for disaster management in Pakistan will be further strengthened. He also directed that initiatives such as the China-Pakistan Joint Lab and Medical Center be made fully operational.
As part of the visit, the Prime Minister received a detailed briefing on disaster management and rescue technologies, including newly developed medical rescue vehicles. He was also briefed on modern technologies designed for precautionary measures against natural disasters.
