President Asif Ali Zardari Approves Anti-Terrorism (Amendment) Bill 2025

President Asif Ali Zardari has given his assent to the Anti-Terrorism (Amendment) Bill 2025, the Presidency announced on Sunday.

According to the official statement, the legislation is designed to enhance the capacity of security agencies to combat terrorism while maintaining transparency and accountability.

The law incorporates a three-year sunset clause to limit its duration and includes provisions for judicial oversight and protective safeguards.

Describing the bill as a significant development, the Presidency noted that it will help Pakistan effectively address current security challenges.
