Sarah Omair Opens Up About Divorce and Mental Struggles After ‘Tamasha 4’ Exit
Renowned Pakistani television actress Sarah Omair, who began her acting career at a young age with the drama Thora Sa Aasma in 2008, recently spoke candidly about her personal life.
Sarah is known for her roles in popular dramas such as Roug, Kathputli, Thora Sa Aasma, and Maaye Nee. She also won a season of Desi Kuriyaan aired. Sarah remained a prominent figure in the industry until 2014, when she stepped away after marrying well-known Pakistani director Mohsin Talat. The couple has two sons.
After being eliminated from the reality show Tamasha 4, Sarah appeared on The Buzz, hosted by Hassan Choudhury, where she revealed details about her recent divorce from Mohsin Talat.
Explaining her reasons for joining Tamasha, Sarah said, “I wanted a break from many things because my ex-husband and I work in the same field, so we kept crossing paths frequently. Many people already know that I got divorced just a few months before joining Tamasha. At that time, I was going through a very difficult phase. As a single parent, I faced numerous challenges and was mentally disturbed.”
She added, “Tamasha is a place without any connections, entertainment, meet-ups, or phones. I had once wished to be somewhere with no signals—I needed peace of mind because I was frustrated. Allah granted me this opportunity, and I found peace for a few weeks. When I recorded the promo, I said, ‘I had already been through enough in my life, so Tamasha would just be a piece of cake for me.’ Watching the contestants fight seemed so childish to me.”
Sarah’s honest conversation sheds light on her personal struggles and her journey toward finding calm amidst challenges.
