NADRA simplifies Succession Certificate process – Check new fee from Sept 2025
The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has announced that Succession Certificate services are now available at all NADRA centers across Pakistan.
Earlier, this facility was limited to selected branches, but now citizens can visit any NADRA office nationwide to apply for a Succession (Inheritance) Certificate. This legal document is required to transfer the assets of deceased family members to their rightful heirs.
Easier Access for Families
The move is aimed at making the process faster and simpler, so families no longer have to travel long distances or face delays. Citizens can now complete their succession matters at their nearest NADRA center by submitting the required documents.
Key Changes
Previously, people could only apply in the province where the property was located. This caused difficulties for heirs living in other provinces. Now, applications can be filed at any NADRA center, no matter where the property is situated.
NADRA Succession Certificate Fee (from September 2025)
Rs20,000 – If the property value is over Rs100,000
Rs10,000 – If the property value is below Rs100,000
This expansion shows NADRA’s commitment to improving public services through digitization and decentralization.
