Dharmendra discharged from hospital, family moves him home for care

Bollywood legend Dharmendra, 89, was discharged from Breach Candy Hospital early Wednesday morning, November 12, 2025. His family, including sons Sunny and Bobby Deol, decided to continue his treatment at home under medical supervision.

According to Dr. Pratit Samdani, Dharmendra was released around 7:30 a.m. and is stable now. “He will continue treatment at home as per the family’s decision,” the doctor said.

The actor had been in and out of the hospital in recent weeks due to health issues. Rumours about his death started spreading on social media on Tuesday, but his family quickly denied them.

Wife Hema Malini and daughter Esha Deol both posted updates assuring fans that Dharmendra was doing better. They thanked everyone for their prayers and love, confirming that he was responding well to treatment.

Earlier this week, the veteran star was visited by family and close friends at the hospital. Stars like Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, and Gauri Spratt were also spotted visiting him.

Dharmendra is now resting at home with his loved ones around him, and doctors have confirmed that his condition remains stable. Fans continue to send warm wishes and prayers for his recovery.
