Study in China without fees – How to apply for CSC Scholarships 2026

The Chinese Scholarship Council (CSC) has opened applications for the 2026–2027 academic year, offering 75 fully funded scholarships for BS, MS, and PhD programs to Pakistani students.

This program aims to strengthen educational ties between China and Pakistan and allows students to study at top Chinese universities. The Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan will shortlist eligible candidates for the program.

Benefits of the CSC Scholarship

Selected students will get full financial support, including:

• Tuition fees fully covered, including education, administration, and health insurance.

• Free accommodation in university dorms.

• Monthly stipend according to CSC rules, based on the degree level.

All students must complete a one-year Chinese language preparatory course before starting their main program. Programs are available in both Chinese and English at master’s and PhD levels.

Eligibility

• Must be Pakistani or AJK nationals (dual nationals are not eligible).

• Must meet all CSC and university criteria, including academic performance and language requirements.

Application Process

• Deadline: Monday, January 5, 2026 (4:00 PM PST)

• Applicants must submit two online applications: one on the HEC portal and one on the CSC portal. Missing either application will lead to disqualification.
