Pakistan Condemns Israeli Airstrikes in Gaza, Calls for International Action
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Foreign Office has strongly condemned the latest Israeli airstrikes in Gaza, calling the reports of women and children being killed “extremely alarming.”
Foreign Office spokesperson Tahir Andrabi said the Israeli attacks are a clear violation of international law and basic human rights. He added that these actions have also violated the Sharm el-Sheikh peace agreement.
The spokesperson warned that Israel’s continued aggression is becoming a serious threat to regional peace and stability.
He urged the international community to take immediate and effective steps to stop the Israeli attacks and protect innocent lives.
Pakistan once again reiterated the need to respect international law and universal human rights. The Foreign Office also renewed its call for the establishment of an independent, sovereign, and viable Palestinian state.
