Actress Rakul Preet Singh has issued a warning to her fans after discovering that someone is impersonating her on WhatsApp, using her photos to chat with people. The impersonator is reportedly operating from the number 8111067586 and has reached out to multiple individuals claiming to be the actress.

The 35-year-old star posted a message on X on Monday, sharing a screenshot and writing, “It’s come to my notice that someone is impersonating me on WhatsApp. Please note this isn’t my number. Do not engage in any random conversations.” She also advised fans to block the number immediately.

Digital impersonation has become a growing concern in the film industry, with actors such as Aditi Rao Hydari and Shriya Saran reporting similar cases in recent months. Experts say scammers increasingly exploit celebrity followings on messaging apps and social media to seek money or personal information.

On the professional front, Rakul recently appeared in De De Pyaar De 2, which has collected over ₹61 crore at the box office, and she is now preparing for Indian 3, the next installment in S. Shankar’s popular franchise.
