Sistrology faces backlash for attention-seeking prank
Sistrology is a group of sisters who create content on YouTube. They are family vloggers and often share their adventures and daily life with their viewers. It all started with the eldest sister, Iqra Kanwal, and later the other sisters joined in.
Their latest video has come under criticism as they used what many are calling “the oldest trick in the book” to gain views, and the internet is not impressed.
In the video, Hira Faisal teamed up with her mother to stage a prank. They wrapped their mother in bandages and pretended that she was in an accident, planning to trick the rest of the family. Many viewers felt that this prank was tasteless and inappropriate for gaining views.
The video has sparked strong reactions online. One user wrote, “What if Allah makes this true?” Another said, “Their hearts are so hard that they can do these pranks about parents.” Others commented, “Their whole life is a prank.”
The backlash shows that while pranks can be entertaining, some topics—like pretending a family member is hurt—can upset viewers and cross the line.
